Ride of about 38 miles at a moderate pace starts at 9:30 A.M. at the Canfield Experimental Farm Trailhead. We will take a short break at Berlin Lake and hopefully see some activity in the osprey nest close to the restrooms at the boat launch. There will be an optional stop for anyone interested at TP Tools Auto Museum (free admission) about 2 miles before the end of the ride to see over 50 vehicles on display with surrounding nostalgic decor. We may drive to car museum after ride to avoid rain. Spring In Columbiana County - this ride started in 1995 and is a favorite of all cyclists. The routes are flat to rolling hills, loop thru the countryside and small towns, with a stop at the rail station in Lisbon for a snack. Pizza Hut lunch at the end of the ride. Ride of about 30 miles on flat to rolling terrain around and near Lake Milton at a mid-high moderate pace starts at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion on Milton Avenue in Milton Township. Stay afterwards (if you want) for the Jackson Milton Hot Stove Cow Drop Bingo fundraiser. The cost of tickets to the fundraiser is $20.00 per person, for which you get both food (served about 6:00 when the doors open) and an entry in the cow drop bingo game (starting about 7:00). There will be a cash bar. Tickets to the fundraiser can be purchased in advance. Jim Henderson has 20 tickets. You might see him on Fred‘s Monday rides. Come join us at the B&O Banquet Hall for a 10 or 22 mile bike ride. The 10 mile will be at a low moderate pace with Multiple stops police escorted on Belmont Ave and the 22 mile ride will be mid to high moderate through some neighborhoods to the airport on Belmont followed by a free lunch afterwards. Registration starts of at 12:30 and the ride starts at 1pm sharp. Helmets are required. The registration is free but donations are appreciated! Just meet up with me to sign the sheet. Ride of about a 38 miles loop at a high moderate pace with some grades starts at Fellows Riverside Garden parking lot at 10:00. We will head north to the Hidden Oaks Golf Course club house for a short break before completing the loop. Anyone interested can then go to nearby Casa Ramirez for a farewell meal. Casa Ramirez is closing at the end of the month after being in business for about 32 years. Anyone not riding is welcome to join us at Casa Ramirez at about 1:30.
