Ride of about 37 miles with some moderate hills at a mid moderate pace to hopefully see the fledging eagles on Lipply Road leaves Poland Township Park at 11:00. Two fledging eagles were standing on the edge of the nest on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday evening, and Friday morning. One is flapping its wings and “hopping.” One of the parents was perched on a branch next to the nest on Thursday evening. There will be a stop with an opportunity to eat. Do not enter the base. Turn right before the gate to enter the outside parking lot. This is a mid-moderate ride of about 25 miles in Trumbull county near the air station. Most roads will be county or township roads.
